A helping hand is being offered to community groups and charities in East Ham.
The Wilko store in High Street is offering money, products and team members’ time as part of its Helping Hands initiative.
Store manager Andy Oakley said: “The Helping Hands scheme is all about supporting local projects and directly benefitting the lives of people who live and work close to our store.
“As a company, it’s great to be able to help local groups and charities by giving something back to the area. Our team members are ready to roll their sleeves up and give their time to worthy causes, plus we have a wide variety of prodects which we can donate.”
Application forms for the scheme can be collected from the store and should be returned to the store’s help desk once completed. Successful applicants will be notified within three months of submission.
