Reporter Jacob Ranson took to the streets this week to ask the community what they love about Newham. Here’s what they said...

Mosunmoma Hassan,45, Caistor park road: “Plaistow is a very good area, it’s not rowdy which I like. Transport links are good as this train station can get you to your destination on time. I like that the whole area is quiet and safe. You can come home late at night and still be at ease.”

Miranda Park, 44, Stratford Road, Plaistow: “I like the diversity and the culture it makes it an interesting place. The parks are really good, I like taking the children there. Also, the transport links are also very easy to get into the city and about anywhere which is handy.”
