Do you share a birthday with The Slide at the ArcelorMittal Orbit?

If so, you’re in for a treat as the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park attraction is set to celebrate its first birthday this weekend with special events.

Visitors can enjoy sunset views over the capital tomorrow with late night opening until 8pm.

A pop-up bar will be open on the viewing platform from 4.30pm, offering prosecco and beer, and there will also be the chance to hear the sound check and support acts for Robbie Williams’ concert in the London Stadium.

On Saturday, anyone who shares the slide’s birthday – June 24 – will be able to get a free general admission ticket, while birthday cake will be given away to all visitors.
