Autumn 2012 arrives in colourful fashion in Stratford

Cold weather is on its way but these colourful leaves show that autumn has certainly arrived.

These crispy looking leaves, lit up in multicoloured lights, were spotted on West Ham Lane by Stratford Park by Stratford resident Princess Maria Sviatopolk-Mirski while walking home on October 10.

She wrote: “My attention was caught by these beautifully-lit trees; the colours are fantastic so I took the opportunity of photographing them. Thank God it wasn’t raining that night.”
