Muslim charity members hand out season’s greetings in Newham
Muslim charity Majlis Ansarullah UK is working to create a more “resilient” and “peaceful” Newham.
It printed 350,000 season’s greetings cards, encouraging members to spread good will to neighbours, colleagues, community leaders and followers of other faiths throughout the UK.
Spokesman Abdul Wadood Khan explained: “Distributing season’s greetings cards at such a large scale is another manifestation of our motto - ‘love for all, hatred for none’.
“All members of Newham branch will also be actively taking part in this campaign in an effort to create a resilient and peaceful society in Newham.”
Majlis Ansarullah UK is a branch of Ahmadiyya Muslim Association UK, a humanitarian group based in Tudor Road, Upton Park.
