A 24-hour Tube strike scheduled to hit the Hammersmith and City line tomorrow has been called off.

Today the RMT union cancelled a strike that was set to begin tomorrow at 9.30pm.

The line, which serves stations at East Ham, Upton Park, Plaistow and West Ham, was scheduled for standstill after the union cited a “breakdown in industrial relations” on the service.

The strike was called off after positive talks with London Underground at ASLEF today.
