Emergency crews were called to East Ham station


Two men have been arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm (GBH) following an assault at East Ham station last night that left another man in hospital with head injuries.

Paramedics were called at about 9.45pm and treated the victim for damage to his head and hands before rushing him to hospital.

Police officers also attended and later arrested the pair, aged 27 and 35, on suspicion of causing GBH.

Both were bailed to return on February 19.
