A man and woman have been injured after he fell from the top floor of Westfield Shopping Centre in Stratford.

Police were called at around 4pm on Wednesday to reports of a man fallen from a height.

Witnesses claim the man fell and landed on a woman below.

Their injuries are not life-threatening.

Officers and the ambulance service attended the scene.

A Westfield spokesman said: “The safety and security of our customers is our highest priority and our security team were immediately at the scene to help. “We continue to offer support to the emergency services as they investigate the incident.”
