Four more men have been charged in connection with the killing of teenager Abdul Mayanja who was shot in the street at Maryland.

Two were charged yesterday with murder, 15 months after the shooting of 19-year-old Abdul in Well Street, near Maryland station, on the evening of August 25 last year, and are due to appear at the Old Bailey tomorrow.

They are Braeden Henry, 23, from Evelyn Road in Stoke Newington, and Sean Obazee, 22, from North Pole Road in North Kensington.

Two others were charged on Tuesday with perverting the course of justice and are due to appear at Thames Magistrates’ Court next Monday, Jade Thrower, 23, and Kieron Aransibia, 23, both accused by postal requisition.

Two more men previously charged with murder are Alex Simos, 20, from St Winefride’s Avenue in Manor Park, and Marvin Simos, 22, from Claremont Close in Canning Town, both due at the Old Bailey in January.

Another two have now been released with no further police action, Scotland Yard confirmed last night.
