Two people were arrested after a van crashed into a hole in East Ham over the weekend.
Police were called at about 1.50am on Saturday, following reports that a van had driven through a closed off area of High Street South before crashing into a large hole.
A section of High Street South at the junction with Poulett Road has been reduced to one lane because of roadworks.
Nobody was injured in the accident.
