A boozer near Forest Gate Station, which has been taken over by a trendy pub company, is officially next week.
The Railway Tavern on Forest Lane, off Woodgrange Road, has been renamed Forest Tavern and will be opening its doors on August 29.
The pub which was rebuild in 1925, was bought by Antic London, which runs pubs in areas such as East Dulwich to Clapham.
The company is also behind the Red Lion on High Street Leytonstone and known for serving up real ale. Food will also be served.
