Passengers travelling with c2c should check before boarding their trains after a number services were cancelled to “relieve crowding”.
From this evening, the following services will no longer stop at West Ham station:
- 17.10 to Grays via Ockendon
- 17.25 to Grays via Ockendon
- 17.46 to Shoeburyness via Laindon
- 17.55 to Grays via Ockendon
- 18.07 to Pitsea via Rainham
- 18.28 to Leigh-on-Sea via Basildon
- 18.34 to Shoeburyness via Laindon
The National Express operator announced these changes as part of their key alterations to some peak-time services, following passenger feedback and a full review of the first days of new timetable in operation.
“We have listened to all the feedback passengers have given us, good and bad, and as promised we are making alterations,” said c2c Managing Director Julian Drury.
“This will relieve crowding on the busiest trains, while still providing a frequent service for those who want to travel to or from these stations. It will also help to ensure a punctual service for all passengers.”
