Train users facing Christmas closures and changes

Passengers planning to use the rail network over Christmas are advised to be aware of closures and changes.

There will be no TfL Rail service between Chadwell Heath and Shenfield on Christmas Eve as well as between Wednesday, December 28 and Monday, January 2. In addition, there will be no TfL Rail service at all on Tuesday, December 22.

There will also be no service between London Liverpool Street and Ingatestone and Bilericay via Stratford for the whole period.

Rail replacement buses will run on all days.

Meanwhile, c2c users will see a revised Sunday service on Tuesday, December 27, with the following three days operating two trains an hour on the Ockendon and Rainham branches, and four an hour on the Laindon branch.

Additional trains will be operating during both morning and evening peak periods.

No trains will be running on any line on Christmas Day and Boxing Day.
