Severe traffic delays are hitting East London this morning following a multi-vehicle accident in Beckton.
Polife, fire and ambulance were called to the Beckton roundabout at just after 5.30am after an accident involving three cars and van.
A Scotland Yard spokesman said: “Fortunately there do not appear to be any serious injuries.”
Parts of the roundabout had to be closed while emergency services clean fluid from the road surface.
Traffic using the roundabout has had to be diverted and increased traffic levels on the A13 have meat tailbacks to Dagenham and beyond.
