They might only be small, but these youngsters have brought in a huge £1,600 for the Recorder’s Christmas Toy Appeal.

The staggering sum was raised through ticket sales to watch the young pupils from Brampton Manor Park School perform everything from short sketches to festive songs on Sunday.

“It’s great because its local children helping out other local children less fortunate than they are,” said Community Links boss Kevin Jenkins.
