A former teacher has swapped the classroom for the kitchen through her new cooked breakfast delivery business.

Hannah McDuffus, 33, launched her own company, Bed N Breakfasttt, on Valentine’s Day, making everything from cheesy beans to black pudding to order.

Cooking up the meals in her home in Shooter’s Hill, Greenwich, the mother-of-one hopes to expand her range to include
Newham by the summer.

Sticking firmly with the notion of Great British nosh, Hannah, who used to teach media drama, also hopes to deliver roast dinners across the capital, provided she can find more delivery drivers.

“We’re a very British institution,” she told the Recorder.

“Believe it or not, we don’t just get orders from hungover people.

“We’ve delivered to hospital workers and people that don’t have a kitchen – if they’re having some work done or something.

“Hopefully we’ll soon branch out and cover the whole of London and then after that I want to launch in other cities in the North.

“Nobody is doing what we are, it seems to be a real market gap”

Even though she spends her days cooking for the rest of the capital, the sight of rasher after rasher has not affected her love of a fry-up.

“I’m really enjoying it so far and experimenting as well – I’m finding loads of new ways to make omelettes. I’ve been loving cooked breakfasts for years, so it’s not something I think I’ll ever go off.”
