AN East Ham man and eight others accused of planning a terror attack in the UK – targeting London landmarks including Big Ben, the Stock Exchange, the American Embassy and Westminster Abbey – were remanded in custody at the Old Bailey on Friday until February 25.

The men, aged 20 to 28, were arrested last month in a series of dawn raids in London, Cardiff, Stoke-on-Trent and Birmingham. They include Shah Rahman, of St Bernard’s Road.
