A 16-year-old has been taken to hospital this morning following a road accident in Manor Park.
The London Ambulance Service was called to Church Road at 8.04am to reports of a collision between a car and a pedestrian.
They sent an ambulance, a single responder in a car, and a duty officer to the scene and the young patient was also treated by paramedics from London’s Air Ambulance.
The teen suffered a leg injury and has been taken to the Royal London Hospital in Whitechapel in a ground ambulance accompanied by an Air Ambulance doctor.
A firefighter from East Ham fire station confirmed the young person was briefly trapped by the car so they also attended the scene with a crew from Ilford.
