London’s first luxury superyacht hotel is opening in Royal Victoria Docks later this month.
The 120m length Sunborn London, which is currently undergoing a full interior refurbishment, will offer four-star accommodation from its permanent mooring close to ExCel.
Alongside 136 bedrooms and suites over five floors, facilities will include a fine dining restaurant, state of the art gym and vast outside desks and private terraces.
ISS, which is running the hotel, has partnered with the East London Business Alliance to recruit more than half of its on-board staff, who will be paid at the London Living Wage.
Owner Hans Niemi said: “The new hotel in London, currently the world’s most important city, gives us an important platform for the Sunborn brand and business concept.”
Sunborn also has yacht hotels in Barcelona and Finland and is about to open a new one in Gibraltar.
