Bowlers spared nothing as they used their end of season celebration to raise £500 for a Canning Town charity.
Members of the Sunday Trios League, based at the City Pavilion in Collier Row, organised a tournament to raise money for Community Links.
Family and friends joined the league bowlers for Sunday evening’s event, with the men’s tournament won by Allan Park and the woman’s tournament won by Rebecca Martin.
League secretary Colin Grainger, who is also a member of Friends of Community Links, said: “It was a great fun night and we would like to thank City Pavilion, in particular Natasha Kaur Virdee, and a host of staff there for making it possible.”
The league has raised more than £4,000 for charity over the last eight seasons.
