STRIKE action is due to hit the Docklands Light Railway (DLR) after union workers voted to stage a walk-out over jobs, pensions and working conditions.
Members of the Rail, Maritime and Transport (RMT) union voted by 162 to 36 in support of the action after a break down in relations with DLR operator Serco Docklands.
A spokesman for Serco Docklands said it was “disappointed” by the ballot result and hoped to resolve the issue.
No date has been set for the action.
