Stratford station has reopened after a “suspicious vehicle” was found at Westfield shopping centre.

Police were called at 6.50am to a security alert at the centre near the railway.

Officers have dealt with the incident and the station is now reopen.

Trains may still be delayed for up to 10 minutes while services recover.

Westfield Avenue is shut from Monfitchet Road to International Way.
