Stratford Santas drink up for Toy Appeal

Drinking buddies turned into Stratford Santas on Sunday night to deliver toys to the neediest children in Newham for Christmas.

Pam Hughes, landlady of The Greyhound pub, in West Ham Lane, said her punters love dressing up for a night out so she thought she’d put some method in their madness by asking them to come dressed up as Father Christmas with a children’s gift for our Christmas Toy Appeal.

This is the first year Pam has decided to throw a fundraiser for our Toy Appeal and all at the Recorder thank her for her support.
