Move over, Kate Moss – there’s a new model in town.

Hannah Honey Adelagun, from Stratford, is set to compete in the Top Model UK finals in April.

And for the 19-year-old, it’s a second chance to make her name in the industry.

“My mum got me involved in modelling when I was around four or five,” she said.

“She signed me up to Little Adults agency and I did it for a few years.

“I got bored of it eventually and decided to quit.”

After a few years away from the modelling circuit, Hannah got back into it during her first year of sixth form at Bishop Challoner Catholic School in Shadwell.

Since then Hannah, who is reading law at Anglia Ruskin University, has been modelling alongside her studies.

She applied for Top Model UK at the end of last year by sending in her photograph to organisers.

“I was called for an audition in Bond Street earlier this month where we had to model in different outfits, including swimwear,” she said.

“We were told on the day whether we’d got through or not.”

Top Model UK 2016 will be held over two days at the Hilton London Metropole, where Hannah will be competing against 24 other models in the editorial category.

“I’d love to make it to the final, or even to win,” she said.

Hannah is raising money for the competition’s chosen charity, Children with Cancer UK, through the public vote which allows supporters to buy votes in exchange for a charity donation.
