Early commuters faced traffic queues this morning after a stolen car was set on fire in Dagenham.
Firefighters from Dagenham fire station were called to reports of a vehicle set alight in Porters Avenue at around 5am.
The crew blocked off the road while they dealt with the incident but it was put out within the hour.
Firefighters said the car was driven into the borough from Grays, Essex and no one was inside the vehicle or injured during the incident.
