Black History Month will be celebrated at All Saints’ Church, Church Street, Stratford, on Sunday (October 16) with a special service at 4pm.
Visitors will be joined by the “African Youth” Group performing dance and the Antigua and Barbuda Association Choir with the church choir in leading the singing.
Guest preacher will be the Rev Ermal Kirby, retiring this year as leader of the Methodist Church in London. His younger brother the Revd Stennett Kirby is the vicar of All Saints, who said: “I am really looking forward to hearing my brother Ermal speak, as I don’t often get the opportunity to hear him.” The service which is open to everyone.
