Going to the Mayor’s Newham Show this weekend?

Don’t miss out on the opportunity for you and a friend to witness some of the 2012 Olympics finest sportsmen and women later this month.

Newham residents attending the Mayor’s Show have the opportunity to get their hands on two tickets for the price of one for Friday and Sunday night events at The Sainsbury’s Anniversary Games, held in the Olympic Park stadium between July 24-26.

Stratford athlete Christine Ohuruogu, Mo Farah, Jessica Ennis-Hill and Greg Rutherford are just some of the star athletes who will compete.

“Once again some world class athletes will be participating in top level sport at the fantastic former Olympic Stadium,” said Mayor of Newham, Sir Robin Wales.

He added: “The 2 for 1 ticket offer is a brilliant way for residents to enjoy the spectacle. There will be something for everyone and I would urge all of our residents to come and enjoy what will be an exciting and action packed weekend.”

Tickets for the offer, courtesy of a partnership between British Athletics and Newham Council, can be purchased via card payment at the Mayor’s Newham Show. Note that no cash can be accepted.
