Sir Chris Hoy will start 5,000 runners off on a five-mile course through Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park this Sunday.
The Newham London Anniversary Run will begin on the South Park lawn and take runners past iconic venues from London 2012.
More than 1,000 will also set off on the Family Run, covering one-and-a-half miles.
The first 100 runners – 50 from the anniversary run and 50 for children aged five years above with an accompanying adult from the family run – will be able to go up the ArcelorMittal Orbit completely free by simply showing their medal on the day.
The ArcelorMittal Orbit is open daily from 10am to 6pm with tickets usually costing £7 for children and £15 for adults.
