Emergency services were called to the incident in Portway, Stratford shortly before 3pm today.

The roof is believed to have caved in on itself, and a structural engineer is on scene.

A London Fire Brigade spokesman said that there were no reports of any injuries.

Portway is partially closed as a result, with bus routes 104 and 238 diverted.
