Both the District Line and the Hammersmith and City Line are experiencing severe delays this morning after a person was taken ill on a train.

The Hammersmith and City Line has severe delays between Barking and Liverpool Street, whilst the District Line is badly affected between Upminster and Earl’s Court.

This comes after some District Lien westbound trains had to be stopped due to a faulty train at Whitechapel.

TfL has said that passengers’ tickets will be accepted on local buses and c2c trains.
