Security staff checked for correct licenses

Dozens of security guards were checked over the summer to ensure they were working legally.
Operation Lolite involved the Security Industry Authority (SIA), the Metropolitan Police Service, and several London boroughs.
It aimed to ensure that security operatives were working legally by holding a valid SIA licence and adhering to the correct conditions.
Sites visited included licensed premises and popular tourist spots.
But two guards, found to be working while unlicensed, will now be subject to further investigation.
Jacquie Parker, from the SIA, said: “During this busy summer we want to esnure that those working in positions of trust are doing so legally.
“There is some follow-up work to be carried out regarding the unlicensed individuals and the people who deployed them.”
