Madison Square Garden (MSG) Company hopes to submit a planning application to Newham Council before Christmas for the London Sphere.

Residents were invited to see the latest plans which, if approved, will sit over a five-acre site on the former Olympic coach park.

The American sports and entertainment business already owns some of the world’s largest attractions and sports teams, including the New York Knicks, the Chicago Theatre and Madison Square Garden.

Architects Populous, the company behind the London Stadium and The O2 Arena, has designed the 90m high sphere.
