A MAN shot by police during a 4am swoop on a large house in Lansdown Road, Forest Gate today (Friday) has been arrested in hospital where he was being treated for his wound.

The 23 year-old, who has not been named, is being held on suspicion of the "commission, preparation and instigation of acts of terrorism", said, Scotland Yard.

Another man is also under arrest and in custody at a police station
