Flights from London City Airport have resumed after damage to the runway was repaired.
They are still subject to delays or cancellations while the airport attempts to recover its schedule.
Departures and arrivals from the airport, by the Royal Docks, were held while maintenance work is being carried out.
A spokeswoman said: “Following London City Airport’s normal overnight closure, the airport’s runway was found to require some routine and minor maintenance work.”
Passengers are advised to check their flight status with their airline before travelling to the airport.
