SANTA’S reindeer came to Beckton as Gallions Reach Shopping Park got into the festive spirit.
The bumper weekend of Yuletide fun was launched when pupils from Gallions Reach Primary School switched on the Christmas lights on Friday.
Festive fun for the kids was provided with face painting, an ice rink and German food.
The excitement continued on Saturday when a penguin parade helped turn the centre into a winter paradise.
A fitting finale to the weekend was provided with the arrival of the reindeer on Sunday.
Bosses at your Recorder this week said a big thank-you to Tesco for help in raising money for Richard House Children’s Hospice during the events.
