The Royal Wedding street part in Ling Road, Canning Town, was one of the most diverse held in Newham with neighbours from 21 different countries.
Everyone cooked up their favourite dish. Deputy Mayor Cllr Andrew Baikie was there to judge the fancy dress competition and to present gifts to the youngest and oldest residents.
Resident Rhiain Aylward said: “We held a cake competition and tug of war as well and a sports day and football match. We have a band living in our street and they were great and we had live Latin American music and Salsa lessons. Thanks so much for coming along. It was a great day.”
