Royal Docks boat owners to appeal licensing decision

THE OWNERS of a Royal Docks function boat have lodged an appeal after Newham Council’s Licensing sub-committee ruled it could not use glass after 11pm if an event was scheduled to go past 1am.

The committee ruled that the Tereza Joanne could keep its 24-hour licence (not stop serving alcohol at 3am as reported in last week’s Recorder) following a fight in its car park on September 5.
