Pupils at Rokeby School ventured to London’s top tourist attractions.
The secondary school in Canning Town has two passport days every year where students choose from a variety of educational visits to go to.
After spending one day at London Zoo Deputy Head and parent of two children who attend the school, Gurjit Shergills said: “my boys thought it was their best ever day in school and proceeded to list all of the animals they saw there.
“The day is a chance for all students to some where they might not normally get a chance to see”.
The trips are designed for youngsters to experience places of cultural, educational and historical interest.
Amongst the many venues, options include: Emirates Stadium, Houses of Parliament, Globe Theatre, Lords cricket ground, London Aquarium ,Tower of London, St Paul’s Cathedral, Museum of London, Natural History Museum, London Eye, Tower Bridge, Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park and Wembley.
