The 70th anniversary of VE Day will be commemorated on May 8 and the Recorder would like to hear from you.
Will you be celebrating Victory in Europe Day this year? Perhaps you will attend a street party or a community fun day, or maybe you are hosting your own event for the occasion.
VE Day marks the end of World War II in Europe.
Do you remember the official announcement in 1945 that war was over? Perhaps you attended one of the famous street parties or remember listening to the Prime Minister’s radio broadcast.
