East London rail franchise Greater Anglia now sells season passes over the Internet for collection from ticket vending machines.
The innovation means passengers can buy their monthly season tickets at www.greateranglia.co.uk and collect them at their station’s self-service machines up to 10 minutes before departure.
The company has achieved its best train service performance for the four-week period ended July 21 with a measure for train punctuality of 94.56 per cent, its highest ever score.
