Motorists are facing a seven-mile tailback after a number of vehicles crashed this morning.

Officers are currently dealing with the collision of up to six vehicles after being called to the A13 in Barking shortly after 6am this morning.

Ambulance crews treated one patient on the scene but noone was taken to hospital.

A seven-mile tailback westbound currently stretches back to the Wennington junction. Queues were building on the A13 Alfred’s Way westbound on approach to Beckton Roundabout. Lanes have now fully reopened but delays are expected.
