KIND-HEARTED pupils at an East Ham primary school raised more than �1000 for flood victims in Pakistan by holding a bring and buy sale.
Children and staff from Hartley Primary School brought in old CDs, DVDs, books and toys last month.
School councillors and support staff also asked parents and carers to donate to the good cause at he gates on Hartley Avenue to raise a grand total of �1050.
Year 6 pupil Cameron said: “I think the bring and buy was fun and it was also to help the victims of the flood”
“I think the bring and buy sale was exciting because everyone brought lots of toys in”, added Year 5 student Karthik.
