Have your say on the creation of a new “pocket park” in Stratford.

Charity Groundwork London is looking for the views of those who live and work in the area during a consultation on Wednesday, June 11, between 12.30 and 4pm.

The consultation will take place at the site of new park, which will be situated in a triangular 500m2 space at the junction of Tramway Avenue and West Ham Lane.

Attendees will be able to offer their opinion on how they would like the park to look and how it should be used.

Colin Graham, project officer for Groundwork London said: “We are very excited to be involved in the continued development of Stratford Town Centre.

“Through engaging the local community in transforming this neglected area, we will create a thriving space for people to enjoy, connecting the Tramway Avenue Pocket Park to wider improvements that have taken place in the area.”

The project is jointly funded by Stratford Renaissance Partnership and the Mayor of London’s Pocket Park Programme.
