The Princess Royal, who is president of the Royal Yachting Association, was given a tour of some of the thousands of boats and associated goods on display at the Custom House venue.

She then went on to enjoy lunch at the show which is also attracting other famous names including Chris Evans, former England captain John Terry, David Dimbleby and Sir Ben Ainslie.

The Tullett Prebon London Boat opened on Saturday to the sound of Her Majesty’s Royal Marines Marching Band, Portsmouth. It will be at the ExCeL exhibition centre until January 20.
