Prince William and Kate to wed

NEWS of the Royal engagement of Prince William and Kate Middleton has been welcomed by the Church and residents of Newham.
The happy couple today announced through Clarence House that they will be wed in the spring or summer of next year.
Plaistow resident and proud Royalist Lil Forkner said: “I would like to offer my congratulations to William and Kate.
“I am very happy for them.”
Lil said that William, who is second in line to the throne, would make a good king and Kate would make a beautiful queen.
The 71-year-old said she hoped to have a party at home or at her church on the big day.
The head of the Church of England for East London, Bishop Stephen Cottrell, added his best wishes to the young couple.
The Bishop of Chelmsford said: “This is very good news.
“The Church in East London and Essex will be holding them in our prayers.”
