Police are treating a fire that tore through a house in the early hours in East Ham as arson.
Around ten firefighters tackled a small blaze in a terraced house on Tyrone Road at 1.12am.
But officers from Newham’s Violent Crime Unit are investigating the matter as they believe the fire was started deliberately.
No arrests have been made and enquiries are ongoing.
It was brought under control by 1.28am but the front of the house and windows were damaged.
