Officers from the British Transport Police are trying to reunite owners with several stolen bicycles that have been recovered following an investigation.

It is believed that the bikes were stolen from east London between July 1 and November 27.

A 40-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of theft of pedal cycles and has been bailed until January pending further enquiries

Pc Jason Weston-Collinson said: “We have recovered these bicycles and now we are looking for the owners of the bicycles to come forward, so that we may reunite them.

“We are looking for the owners of four bicycles. If you recognise your bicycle please contact us on the number below.”

Anyone who owns or recognises the bikes should call BTP on 0800 40 50 40 or text 61016, quoting reference number E-SUB/B3 of 18/12/15.
