POLICE are treating the discovery of a man with serious head injuries on the A13 near Canning Town as non-suspicious.
Officers have yet to speak to the man found yesterday morning by a member of the public at the BP Garage on the Eastbound carriageway but do not believe he had been involved in a road accident or attacked.
The air ambulance was scrambled and the man was taken to The Royal London Hospital and his injuries are now said to be non-life threatening.
Both lanes of the Canning Town Flyover were closed, as was part of Prince Regents Lane.
