POLICE are growing increasingly concerned for the welfare and safety of an 84-year-old man with severe dementia who has gone missing from his Plaistow home.
Leslie White was last seen at 2pm on Wednesday, leaving his address in Pragel Street, to go shopping.
He is described as a black male who normally wears clear plastic framed glasses. He was last seen wearing grey trousers, a beige fleece and multi coloured slippers.
Because of his illness he may appear confused.
Anyone who knows his whereabouts or has seen a man matching his description, is urged to contact Newham’s Missing Person Unit on (020) 7275 5728.
