Police have released an image of a man wanted for questioning after attacking a disabled man with the victims walking stick.

The incident which took place in E15 on May 19, resulted in the man suffering wounds to his head and face.

Newham Police want to trace the whereabouts of the unidentified man, known as ‘John’, and who is thought to live near Forest Gate train station and frequent around Stratford.

Anyone who can identify ‘John’ should contact the Newham Police Violent Crime Unit on 020 7217 5853 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
